Do higher tiers include lower ones?
Yes, it's one ladder. Mastery ($49.99) includes Applied AI and Systems; Applied AI ($29.99) includes Systems. You only ever need one subscription.
Do the labs need API keys?
No. Every lab and code exercise runs real, deterministic engines in your browser, CPython, the TypeScript compiler, and a real JVM, all via WebAssembly. The only model call is the AI tutor (Tier 2+), which is included.
Monthly or annual?
Both. Monthly is flexible and month-to-month; annual bills once a year and saves ~17% (two months free) — e.g. Applied AI is $29.99/mo or $299/yr (≈ $24.92/mo). Pick the toggle above the plans before you check out.
